I have what I think is a powerful computer yet LR always seems to hang up and I get a No Response notice.  Let me give you some background that may help you help me.

My LR cataloge is updated and always updated automaticly.  We always optimize it whenever we close our cataloge

We are running Win 10 64 bit latestes version with automatic updates

My computer is an HP desktop with Intel i7-7700 processor with 32 Ram

I have a 516 mb internal solid state as my "C" drive were I keep my cataloge.

I have a 6 TB SATA internal drive as my "F" drive were I keep my photos

I have a NVIDIA Quardro P1000 video card

We have increased the Camera Raw cache to 20 gb

I make a lot of photo books and when I am in the Photo Module and go to the Develop Module or come back I get a "No Response" notice and have to wait for it to reopen.  The time seems to be from 2 to as much a 10 seconds and sometimes more for any photo.  One thing I have noticed is that when I come back into LR after signing out my speed is almost instantanious but quickly slows down as I do more work.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Herman

Both of my drives have a significant amount of free drive space

Do you do a lot of brushing and/or a lot of spot healing?
