Lightroom is failing to stack images edited in Photoshop.
My sequence of workflow is as follows:
1. RAW image Importing into LR from the camera
2. Basic editing of the RAW file in LR
3. "Edit in ..." Photoshop through LR choosing the option "Edit a copy with LR adjustments"
4. Saving the edited file in .PSD in the same folder as the original RAW file.
5. Trying to stack the images - fails with error message saying that "Could not create stack. Stacks cannot contain photos that are stored in different folders".
On checking the Windows Explorer, the images are definitely in the same folder.
However, the left panel in the Library module in LR shows a new folder with the same name and 1 image (the PSD). When I try to move this image in LR to the original folder the error messgae says "The file already exists at the destination"
This is bizzare and appears that LR is creating a ghost folder with the same name.
Help please
