Hi All,

I have 2 large pano images and blended in PS CC 2019, after some adjustments it was saved as PSB about 12 GB, since I wanted to import back to LR Classic 2019 what I have tried is that

1. I saved as TIFF with ZIP option for both Image Compression and Layer Compression I got a file of 3GB

2. I saved as TIFF with ZIP option for Image Compression and Discard layers, I got a file of 1.5 GB

Then I imported them into LR both TIFF images gave me an error - This file is too big

I did check the size of the image which does not exceed 65,000 pixels

Have I missed anything? any help/ advice would be appreciated.

Cheers

The maximum dimensions LR allows are 65,000 pixels per side and a total of 512 megapixels (512,000,000 = width x height): Supported file formats in Lightroom Classic and Lightroom . What are the actual pixel dimensions of your file?  You've probably exceeded 512 megapixels.

And does LR support PSB?

Ah,, I see they are: How To Access Large Document PSB Files In Lightroom and Bridge - YouTube

(above a bit dated)

and: Supported file formats in Lightroom Classic and Lightroom

(need compatibility turned on?)

From:File formats in Adobe Photoshop

  • Choose Edit > Preferences > File Handling (Windows) or Photoshop > Preferences > File Handling (Mac OS).

  • From the Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility menu, choose any of the following:

AlwaysSaves a composite (flattened) image along with the layers of your document.

AskAsks whether to maximize compatibility when you save.

    NeverSaves only a layered image

Hi,

does anybody have BigTiff plugin (BigTiff_32.8bi) for Photoshop 2020 64bit ?

It used to be downloadable here https://forum.ggnome.com/viewtopic.php?t=4817 but the link http://gardengnomesoftware.com/download/bigtiff/bigtiff_0_1_win.zip is no more working.

Thank you very much.
