Hi, my computer hard drive died and now I am attempting to import photos from Amazon Photos. I can download them with no problem from Amazon, but Lightroom can not see them in my downloads. Suggestions?

  • What file type are the images?
  • If files are compressed, did you unzip them?
  • Which app  --  Lightroom CC, Lightroom Classic...?
  • Which operating system?

LrC is not a File Manager. So it can't see any files, folders or hard drives unless you imported images from the drive and folder. Once that happens, once you import from that drive and folder, it will show up in the Folders section of the Library module.

Please Explain exactly what you did and what you are trying to do in LrC. Screen shots help.
