Unable to open Lightroom

When trying to open Lightroom Classic I keep recieving a message "Unexpected error opening cataalog - The Catolog could not be opened due to an unexpexcted error" . I have uninstalled and reinstllled but keep recieving this message.

Please find, search, for your catalog file, it ends with .lrcat, and Move it from where it is to some other folder on your drive.

Then try to Open LR Classic. When it opens it will create  New catalog file in the Default location, in your Username's Pictures folder, and then try to Import from another catalog and select your original catalog file from where you moved that to.

Post back with any problems or results.

Find a recent backup, unzip it, copy it (not move it) to a new empty folder, and then try opening it by double-clicking on it.

If that doesn't work, repeat the process but put it in a new folder on a different hard disk, and try opening it again.
