Using Digital Pen on 2 in 1 Laptop with Elements

If I buy a 2 in 1 laptop can I use a digital pen instead of the mouse in lightroom and elements?

Most of the user use Wacom & Cintiq tablets when it comes to using the pen. Please let us know which 2 in 1 laptop are you looking to use with a pen?

Thank you for your answer. It is the lenova 720 which has windows ink. They claim it can be used with lightroom etc. but I can't get a specific answer from them.
