Hi.

I am on Win 10 and few days ago one of my HDD become unreadable, it just didn't appear anymore even when it was connected.

I managed to get the RAW files recovered but I will need to verify if they are damaged/corrupted/miswritten.

The question is: will Lr Classic see the eventual "damage" immediately or I will need to generate new previews?

(Or perhaps might be better to use Adobe Bridge or Camera Raw to check!?)

I don't use DNG so I can't use the validation system and I guess my only choice will be to do a visual check.

LrC Develop Module will see damage in the files immediately. If you generate previews in the library module, then it will see the damage as well.

Don't you have backups on a different disk?
