The time has come when I really had to give up on Lightroom Classic.
Software must be seriously broken, at the same time, it seems to work for for some people, so IDK.
I've watched a dozen "how to fix performance issues in Lightroom" tutorials,, videos etc.. But nothing seems to fix my awful Lightroom Classic performance. I've obviously uninstalled, then installed it a bunch of times but it alays ends up the same.. it so gawd damn awfully slow, its unusable.
I'm now on a 12-core (24.thread) computer 4GHz, 64GB RAM, Geforce RTX 2070 SUPER, Windows 10 installed on a 3.5GB/s .m2 drive. None of the above does a damn thing compared to my old setup which was 5 times slower.
So now I give up for real. I'm still gonna use Photoshop, but Lightroom Classic is now dead to me.
Its a pity because I like the workflow and feature set.
As a last thing I'm considering doing a YouTube video showing how terribly slow it is....
