When Sync doesn't work, it is almost always because the photo has already been imported into Lightroom Classic, and Lightroom Classic thinks it is in a different folder than you think it is in. Please search for this photo in Lightroom Classic, using the filter bar to search by file name.

Is this a Lightroom Classic question?

Shouldn't be a problem, Lightroom Classic is smart enough to know these are different photos, if they have different capture date, different original file name and different original file size.

Please explain the steps you are following, in detail. First you talked about import, then you switch to sync ... explain.

Can you please write complete English sentences?

In Lightroom Classic, did you click on "All Photographs" and then do the search? If not, then please do.
