P: (Android): Noise reduction isn't applied to exported images

If you export images at a lower resolution around 1400px long edge or below, noise reduction is not applied to exported images. The bug never occurs if the images are exported using the setting "export larges resolution possible".

It is identically to the issue on IOS: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/lightroom-mobile-cc-noise-reduction-when-expo...

I am using a Samsung GalaxyS8 (Exynos Version) with Android 9
Lightroom Version is 5.4 (Noticed bug on 5.2 for the first time)

Thanks for the information. I've verified we have a bug logged and work is proceeding on a fix.

After updating to version 6.0 it seems to be fixed. Will do some more testing in the next days.

This bug annoys me at least since half a year and I can't believe that it doesn't get fixed although you at Adobe know about this at least since you reproduced it six months ago.

8 Month now and still not fixed. It's just sad. Is there any ETA when this will be fixed?

Adobe has never successfully reproduced this issue. Without instructions for successful reproduction we are unable to affect a fix and have left the existing report open to collect more data.

I just tried on three separate Android devices and find it is working on all three (6.2).

Given the low number of reports, I suspect there is something system-specific to your device that is causing the issue.

@Rikk Thats really really sad. I always have it on Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S20 FE which are pretty common devices.

Since the same bug also occured on iOS I don't believe it's uncommon to happen on Android too. I think it's more like Adobe treating Android as a second class system.

Galaxy Tab S7 here, I can confirm it's still happening with v7.1.1. Using the default 2048 pix on the long side, 90% quality of the JPEG.

Trying on the iPad with same export settings the bug ISN'T there. Said that this hasn't been addressed for Android after all this time. 😞
