P: Desktop: Creating Duplicates Upon Saving

Hoping this makes sense!

Almost every time I export/save photos from CC, the program will begin the process, then stop halfway through and restart... which then duplicates the file.

For example, I tried exporting an album of 80 high res images yesterday afternoon, which I walked away from...and four hours later,came back to the program STILL exporting, and I had SEVEN copies of about 3/4ths of the images from the album.

If its user error, for the love of goodness, please correct me.
If its a problem with CC, how would I go about fixing it? I've switched computers, uninstalled and reinstalled and restarted my computer.... nothing seems to fix it!

Please help! Exporting weddings is a frikin NIGHTMARE.

anecdotally: It seems to happen specifically when I delete an already exported photo.

For example, I deleted a photo I exported with the batch by mistake, and then the entire export process froze and it started exporting multiple duplicates over and over and over.

I was able to repeat this multiple times.

ALSO seems to happen if I am exporting multiple "albums" at the same time.

Didn't delete anything during the export process and it seemed to work. Who knows.

This might be useful, thanks. But it happened to me when exporting whole year (not albums, but selection by date) and without deleting anything during the process, I was actually AFK during export.

as I said: download al large number of Pics (<100) to desktop from cloud starts again and again after an Internet interruption and creates duplicates. My Workflow: downloading Images from Camera to iPad Pro at location and edit on desktop at office, then download final Images to Folder on Desktop. So I have to split my download into smaller parts and that's annoying!!!

I have had the same issue for months with Lightroom cc.  It takes forever to save files, then more hours are wasted deleting duplicate files.

How is it possible that this problem has not been resolved? It's such a big problem to not be able to export photos that we have edited with this software... it's a basic functionality. I'm unable to export at the moment, and the "trick" I was using before no longer works (ie, I was able to export if I had the Wifi turned off). 

I am only trying to export 36 photos and it won't complete, and it just keeps restarting. It creates 13-14 duplicates for the first 15 photos then stops.

I am no longer able to use this software for my wedding photography editing, since it is impossible to export a client's entire gallery.

Are there any workarounds?

Still a problem in windows 10, Lightroom CC 1.5.

Trying to export 108 photos, takes several hours to export 20 photos and half of them are duplicates.

Lightroom is currently on version 3.3. If you are using 1.5 you would need to update.

Try again... Lightroom is up to date. No update today that I'm aware of, Creative Cloud is up to date and this literally just happened twice in a row while exporting a wedding.
