P: (iOS and Android) Not rendering on export when using Lens Blur

After last update (blur effect) I can't render after edit pictures on my iPhone 12 pro max. Any thoughts?!

Updates for Adobe Lightroom Mobile products have been released.  The February 2024 updates contain a fix for this issue. 

Updates will be available via the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and the Galaxy App Store. Note: it can take several days for some customers to receive a notification of an available update via their App Store.

The only way I could download the blurred background images is downloading the pics directly from the Lightroom website.

Hi, 

i have issue with Lightroom app on my iPhone 14 pro.. (iOS updated Lightroom updated) 

after I did my editing and applied the blur effect photos and try to save, it's stuck on rendering (screenshot attached) 

when I remove the blur effect app works absolutely fine, 

I have tried to relaunch the app, 

clear the cache, 

reinstal the app

Everyrhing is properly synced (ss attached) 

tried to do it on airplane mode (still same) 

Help me fix this issue

Hi, 

 

         I'm using Lightroom mobile v9.0.1 in my Android phone. When I try to export images it takes too much time (8 minutes or more) and sometimes it doesn't export. I have tried the same thing in my PC and iPad but exporting was not working. Please help me to solve this problem.

Witam mam problem z zapisywaniem zdjęć na urządzeniu. Obrabiam w lightroom mobilnym o chce zapisywać zdj w tel w galerii jedno zdjęcie zapisuje się w miarę szybko inne 2 h i nic brak też komunikatu itp wyłączyłam nawet wygaszacz ekranu w tel ale to nic nie daje. Pomocy

Same issue on iPad version. Cannot export or save to device, since update. I tried it a couple diferent ways, no luck. You might consider escalating this thread, since this bug pretty much makes the application useless.

As soon as I use Blurr feature cannot export edited photos. Keep's rendering and cannot export it. Help would be much appreciated.

You can not export after using the blur tool. Is this ever going to fixed because it's been like since it's been introduced.

Hello Team, 

 

On certain photos, LR Android App isn't able to save/export the photo post processing. 

 

I've tried to uninstall /reinstall, clearing cache etc but it didn't result in success. I've attached relevant screenshot.

Are you using the Early Access feature for Blur?  Exports using the Blur effect can take many minutes on lower-powered Android devices. If you leave the export run for 20-30 minutes, does it complete?

Thanks for your swift response.

Firstly I'm using Samsung Galaxy S23. I'm pretty sure it's not a lower powered device.

I'm using blur early access for some pics while not for others. 

 

My observation is as under - 

Pics which are easily exported without blur feature show no difference when I use blur in the same photos.

 

Whereas, photos which just get stuck in the export state do so irrespective of the fact that I enable blur or not. 

 

Can you help me further?

We will want to collect some data from you. 

 

  • Can you restart your device?
  • Log into Lightroom
  • Attempt Export

When you see the error message create a diagnostic log to share with the team:
Android Log File

 

Open Settings Panel, long press on the top left “Lr” icon. This will enable a “Send Feedback” button on the settings panel.

 

 

Now perform the usual tasks in LrA for few minutes and then please reopen the Settings Panel and tap on “Send Feedback” from settings panel. This will open your email client after a few moments and attach the logs.

There's no error message. The LR gets stuck indefinitely on the exporting task and that pop up on the screen. 

 

I'll have to cancel the export and then send the logs.

 

Please let me know if they will suffice.
