Hello @ChicoDug

I tried and can't reproduce any problem adding images to an album, whether they come from my camera roll, or if they are already imported into Lightroom.

What specific device models and iOS versions are you running?

Are you updated to the latest LR app verison 9.1?

If you can easily reproduce this, could you share a screen recording so we can see your steps and better understand how to cause the issue?  See this page for info on iOS Screen Recording: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207935

Thanks so much for the screen recording.  Even after trying your exact same steps (large thumbnail view, open the Select menu, etc) I am not reproducing it on my iPhone 15 with iOS 17.2.1, but I will try another device not yet updated as much.

I'm curious, if you are open to updating to iOS 17.2, does that help?

Thanks for the suggestion.  Unfortunately I get the same thing after updating the iOS. Here's my iPad using a different approach to add an image to an album

Haa!  From one Charles D to another, I tip my hat to you sir!

My teammates and I are honestly a bit mystified, as we have not yet reproduced this in house to help our Developers debug this.  My teammate wisely asks: "Does this crash occur with all assets or only some?"

If this occurs with only specific files in your account, please let me know, and I will share an additional request to gather more info.

I've tried images randomly all over. Including images accessed locally, smart previews, downloaded originals, images uploaded via SD card and images uploaded view a LRc catalog (save as catalog). All result in a crash both on my iPhone and iPad. My desktop apps on my MacBook and Mac Mini both work fine.
I cannot remember when this started.  I do know I recently went through some difficulties trying to import about 5000 images from LRC as I test switching over to Lr. I exported about 5000 images from LRC as a catalog then imported them to Lr. When I went back to LRC I noticed it was in the process of deleting images off Lr. I watched the Lr images go down from over 8000 to about 5000 before I stopped the synch in LRC. Since then I restored all those deleted images from the deleted album in Lr and have kept the LRC synch off.  I don't know if this is related because I don't believe I was having this problem before. I noticed it after restoring those deleted files and then re-organizing the deleted folders and albums.

I installed Lightroom on my wife's iPhone 14, signed into my account and encountered the same issue. My belief now is the problem stems from my account???  I've had a Photoshop-Lightroom photographer's subscription since 2013.  Nothing has changed. Could that be the issue ?

Problem still persists.  Nothing has changed.  Both my ipad and iphone apps crash, even after workinjg with ADOBE's sales folks and upgrading my account to the $20 Photographer's plan.

Any solution yet after all this time?  I use Lr a lot, especially when traveling and it continues to crash every time I try to move images between folders. I can't believe I'm the only person with this issue.
