I think any adjustment is enough to fix this behavior. Personally I had this problem when I applied masks in the desktop edition.

Any news here? I am still facing this issue on single pictures within my library. Unfortunate addition: When I want to export a couple of images (for example 100) and there is 1 buggy image showing the error in between, Lightroom is not able to finish the export for all others. I first have to identify the corrupted one and deselect it. In the online cloud all images are still available as usual.

Same issue, latest versions of all Adobe software desktop and mobile. I have two versions of LR desktop running on two different macs. It looks as if it you edit a photo on one mac (actually, a duplicate), and then edit the same duplicate on another Mac, then the error occurs, and the only way to resolve the "conflict" (although there is none), is to edit the photo on "lightroom.adobe.com", which fixes the problem. This is REALLY annoying as fixing this problem for tens of photos is extremely frustrating and time-consuming.

Same issue, but only for random photos. 99% of my photos will load in the Lightroom CC mobile app, but a few will not. This has been a problem for FOREVER. When is there going to be a fix for it? I have also noticed that the problem is worse when I have both my mobile app open and Lightroom open on my home computer. Sometimes pics will not sync, instead they just randomly disappear, making me have to re-edit them again.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of the mobile app. I have no problem syncing photos on my mac, just my iphone 7.

I've been having this problem for what seems like ages. Any fixes yet? It's extremely inconvenient because I can't use a watermark from Lightroom CC on my mac. I can only save the image with my watermark from the mobile app. So when I can't load the image on the mobile app, there's no way to watermark it.

Greetings,

For those of you still experiencing this error. If you sign out of the app and then sign back in does the error clear?

No, signing out doesn’t clear the error. I’ve even uninstalled and reinstalled the app and that didn’t work either.

Nope. Doesn't work. I am receiving this error message on about 25% of the photos in my library.

I think I managed to narrow down which photos this seems to  happen to.

This happens only to photos on which I used a preset which has 2 or more linear gradient filters. It might be other types of local adjustments, but I haven't checked.

  • The moment I loaded the attached preset (which has those) the picture stopped being shared correctly and started showing the T20200121 error.
  • I then undid the preset and made other manual adjustments - it went back to showing up ok on other devices.
  • To see if that was preset-related or something to do with the gradients I then manually applied 1 gradient filter - showed up ok.
  • Added another gradient filter - error T20200121.
  • Removed that gradient filter and remained with only one - shows up ok.
  • Removed THAT gradient filter - still ok.

So it sure seems like the second gradient messed things up.

Hopefully that could somehow help narrow down the issue and create a fix.

Here's the offending preset:

Thanks!
Oded.

Are you using 2 or more linear gradient filters (regardless of presets)?

I had this error but it was resolved after I signed out of Lightroom on all devices - 2x iPhones, 1 laptop and 1x iPad. I think 1 device was stuck in 'edit' mode on the image, which wouldn't let me edit the image on another device. Hope this works for everyone!

Same issue. My affected edits are unable to load and unable to export. It seems to be an issue if you have lightroom active on more than one device. I have tried logging out on all deviced including creative cloud. All updated to lastest versions. Ive been seeing the same across other forums, and seems to have been an issue with lightroom for several weeks at least. Is there any updates on this Adobe?

Hi,

does this issue still reprouduce?
Yesterday we had a critical outage that might have caused this issue.

If you run into this issue again please verify:
1. network connection is working
2. That the image exists on https://lightroom.adobe.com
3. amount of disk space on device ( in some rare cases this can influence)

Thanks,
Ignacio

Hi Ignacio,

The issue has been ongoing prior to that so cant be related to anything from yesterday unfortunately.

I can confirm that:

1. network connection is working
2. The image does exist on https://lightroom.adobe.com
3. I have upwards of 150GB of disk space available on all devices. (Macbook Proand Ipad Pro)

Thanks for responding, much appreciated.

There might be one thing that you can try out, somewhat far fetched, can you do an edit on the image that you have a problem with on https://lightroom.adobe.com?

thanks,
Ignacio

I have already tried this. I read someone had tried that on another forum and it worked for them. I am trying every variation now. Being logged out of the programme on my ipad and mac, while doing a slight edit in the link provided, however no luck so far 😞
