P: Radial and Linear Gradients not carried over when migrating from Classic to Cloud-based

I'm migrating a Ligthroom Classic 11.0 library to Lightroom (Cloud-based) 5.0 on a MacOS Monterey 12.0.1 and the gradients applied, either radial or linear, are not carried over.

I've attached a screenshot.

Is this a known bug?

Greetings,

Updates to the Adobe Photography Products were released on June 13. The update contains a fix for this issue.  Please download and the latest version of your application via the Adobe Creative Cloud Application or your respective device app store.

If you do not see the update (Mac and Win) you can refresh your Creative Cloud App with the keyboard shortcut [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

Note: App store availability can take several days for the update to appear and be available.

I've done two test migrations and am not seeing the issue on my end. In both cases the masking arrived from Classic 11.0 to Desktop 5.0 intact and correct.

When you click the Mask tool in LrD 5.0 you should see a Mask Panel appear, it doesn't look like your Panel is selected. Can you click on the panel again and see if a panel appears?

Thank you for looking into it.

It was selected but didn't appear in the screenshot because Classic window was the active one.

An additional detail that could be useful for troubleshooting:

if I make a brand new LrC 11.0 catalog, apply those same edits, and then migrate to LrD 5.0, it works correctly.

The edits that are not being carried over were made in LrC 10.x and previous.

Will I be notified when a solution is found or should I just wait for next update and cross my fingers? This is holding me back from using the Cloud ecosystem which I'm paying a premium for.

Hello Rikk, the issue seemed to be fixed, as you stated, but I've noticed it happening again on a small subset of photos. I've tried replicating/isolating the issue but I can't unfortunately..

@Rikk Flohr: Photography after some digging/troubleshooting, it appears that it needs to have at least Standard Previews generated before the migration, in order to carry over the masks. Smart Previews aren't enough.

My case is:
- I have a big LrC catalog of about 80k images

- I break it up into smaller catalogs in order to do an incremental migration (eg: I select all photos from 2021 and export them into a new catalog, and use that new one for the migration)

- If I don't select the "export available previews" or some of the photos don't have one, masks will not be carried over

Thanks for the additional info, @massimilianos85180623  I have passed that onto the LrD team.
