Please point me to videos showing how to add Metadata to multiple photos

- For pre-import to Lightroom

- For after import to Lightroom

I've spent a lot of time looking and cannot find anything helpful that works relating to the new version of Lightroom.

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. That is a great question. Let me see if I can clarify that for you.

Adobe Lightroom can read and show you general categories of metadata. Extensive control and management of Metadata are currently not possible in Adobe Lightroom. However, Lightroom Classic deals with metadata comprehensively and hierarchically.

Check this resource for help in understanding the differences between Adobe Lightroom and Lightroom Classic: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/lightroom-feature-comparison.html

You can keep refining the metadata of your images in large batches & you can also create and customize metadata presets and apply them during import or export.  Check this video to help you get started: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTcbh_P8OSk

We hope this helps,

Thanks!
