Adding Photos to Albums Not by Drag and Drop

Is there a way to add photos to albums other than the drag and drop method?  That can get very slow as  your list of albums grows.

Hi there,

Lightroom currently only supports moving images to albums by dragging the images over. If you have any suggestions on how you would like to organize/move the images please submit it as an idea at the link below.

I’d like to be able to select images, right click, have the context menu have an add to option with a search box where as I start typing album names the results are returned. I simply select the album I want and click ok. The images are mocked to that album.

Much quicker when dealing with larger numbers of albums.

Also a feature to allow removal from existing album at the same time would be helpful.

It’s for moving the photo between Albums (which can be done on Mobile!) but the same theory could be used for Add To also.

You can set an album as a target album. It is then possible to add a batch of selected photos with a single keyboard hit.
