Community Beginner ,
Feb 25, 2018 Feb 25, 2018

Hi

Trying to add my name/logo on my pictures in LR cc.

Searched on google and Adobe is telling med to do this Edit > Edit Watermarks (Windows) or Lightroom Classic CC > Edit Watermarks (Mac OS)

Problem is that under Edit I do not get the choice Edit watermarks..... its nothing like that there..

Anyone know about this ?

Watermarking features are not yet in Lightroom CC. You need Lightroom Classic CC for that.

It's possible to set up preferences to add copyright info for all photos imported. This appears in the metadata. So all photos saved and shared would have the copyright embedded. But I don't think it is yet possible to display the info as an overlay on top of the image.

This is correct. Amazingly this is only possible (and only a very simply text copyright watermark) from the mobile version and not from the desktop version of CC. Of course Classic has very full fledged watermarking tools.

Under Edit > preference > general >Import. It only lets you type in a copyright watermark but doesn't allow for customization

There is no "Preference" option under "Edit" in Lightroom CC (online version).  Please clarify if you would.  Thank you.

There is no Lightroom "CC" anymore. The preferences being referred to is in the desktop version of Lightroom (the cloud version of Lightroom).

You are correct, however. There are no preferences in the online version of Lightroom. You need a subscription to have those features.
