This is pretty consistent if unpredictable for me. Usually happens if Lr is open for 'a while'. It is the 'a while' that is the unpredicatable part. More often it works as expected, but this happens way too often.
Mac version.
- I select a photo in Lr, edit in Ps.
- Make a lot of edits in Ps.
- Save in Ps.
- Close in Ps.
- Lr gets stuck on importing. Never finishes. I lose my edits. Often I need to Force Quit Lr. It doesn't freeze just ignores the Quit command.
The most troubling part is that I lose all of my edits. Ps doesn't really save a copy to local drive or cloud during this process.
Looking for two suggestions.
- How to prevent this.
- If I can't prevent, how to save a copy before closing in Ps, while still using the intended import function for when it is working.
- A possible work around. I am afraid
