AI noise reduction

New Here ,
Nov 24, 2024 Nov 24, 2024

Good morning, I have an I7 8700, 32GB of ram and Geforce GTX 1050.
Noise reduction with AI is very slow for me, it takes about 4 or 5 minutes per photograph.

They had told me that it was done from Adobe computers and the internet connection was important. I have a good connection.

Why does it take me so long to do the noise reduction? What influences speed?

No, it is not done on the Adobe servers. It is done on your local computer and requires a fast GPU. Your Geforce GTX 1050 is an medium range GPU that is 8 years old by now, so it is no surprise that Denoise is slow on your computer.

One 12800 ISO Canon MKIII image file took 1 hour on my computer, so I don't know what you are complaining about 🙂  .  The result was pretty impressive though.
