Banding during preview & export to JPG

I'm having an issue with banding, particularly on iOS and iPadOS devices. It seems that during previewing of images with soft gradients, banding is clearly visible. It also appears exporting such images to JPG produces the same banding artifacts. Sometimes the banding disappears, as if the higher quality preview wasn't ready before. 

I made a small video showing the problem on Lightroom on my iPhone.

Hey @Dave15D5. Thanks for attaching the video. It helps. What version of Lightroom, iOS & iPadOS are you working on?

Try this on a few images:

• Click on the cloud icon on the top right.
• Select 'Get this original'
• Zoom in again.
