Best Photos Tool

Sep 21, 2019 Sep 21, 2019

I've just had a go with the "Best Photos Tool".  This popped up on the web preview of a shared album I created in LR CC Classic.

Not yet ready to say what I really think of it (basically good idea, off to a good start, some questions that would deermine who its really for).

However, I seem to have one fundamental issue right now.  And that is basically how it integrates with LR Classic, ie does it sync back to the desk top?  It looks to me like it doesn't, unless I'm missing something.

So it did its thing, I tweaked the results, and created an album of the 'best photos'.  Very cool.

BUT - That album has not appeared in LR Classic.  Without that, its pretty useless.

From the 'Help' document at-

https://helpx.adobe.com/au/lightroom-cc/using/search-organize-mobile-android.html

"Best Photos feature combines Adobe Sensei smarts as well as changes and edits that you’ve made to your photos to make a recommend selection of your photos within an album with the highest potential, quickly and easily."

"how it integrates with LR Classic"-   To test this- I cannot activate 'Best Photos' in my Lightroom iPhone app or Lightroom on the web!

I can however create a new Album (on my iPhone) and add photos to this Album- the Album appears in Lr-Classic as a Collection. So (in theory) it must be possible to get your 'Best Photos' into a Collection in Classic. Keep trying!
