Why when I try to upload photos to Lightroom
I get a messages is not enough space on C Drive.

Can you share your system info? You can find it by going to Help > System Info, then copying and pasting it into a text file to attach here. This will enable us to troubleshoot.
I also wanted to clarify that the C-drive is the main storage drive on most Windows computers and typically holds the operating system, program files, and default user folders. I also wanted to clarify that the C-drive is the main storage drive on most Windows computers and typically holds the operating system, program files, and default user folders. Lightroom installs there by default and usually stores its catalog—its database of edits, previews, and photo information—on the C-drive as well. Your actual photos don’t need to be stored on the C-drive; Lightroom can reference them from any internal or external drive. Keeping the catalog on the C-drive (especially if it’s an SSD) helps Lightroom run faster, while storing photos elsewhere can help prevent the C-drive from filling up.
