where can I find camera profiles such as Adobe Standard or camera standard in Lightroom? Second question, is there a way to see the edits to a jpeg file straight out of the camera in Lightroom? Thank you in advance.

These profiles are raw profiles. They will automatically be present if you have selected a raw file, not if you have selected a jpeg file.
I'm not sure I understand your second question. What do you mean with "see the edits to a jpeg file straight out of the camera in Lightroom"?
