Can't import false duplicates on LRCC desktop

Well Adobe, you've caused me a days worth of frustration and almost a day lost trying to solve this absolutley stupid problem. 

I'm tryin to import new (taken yesterday) photos, but upon import, LRCC disallows me from importing about 2/3rd of the shots, as they suspect (falsely) that they are duplicates. I've tried copying, I've tried erasing the exif/metadata, I've tried renaming entirely, I've tried storing them on an external and internally, and LRCC simply will not allow me to import these f***ing photos. 

If you want to be taken seriously, don't throw professionals ameture level issues with your software. This is unacceptable.
