Cannot import images from Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III

I am unable to import photos from my new Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III directly into Lightroom .  I get this error:

Some import operations were not performed.

>Failed to find a place for the imported file (2)

>The files could not be found (57)

I had to drag the photos onto my desktop, then to my hard drive and Synchronize the folder to get them into Lightroom. 

Any suggestions?
