Cannot open up lightroom photos in Photoshop

I cannot seem to open up Lightroom photos in Photoshop nor can I edit in photoshop via lightroom. I used to be able to but I cannot anymore. Both apps are up to date as well.

Sorry that you cannot edit images from Lightroom to Photoshop. 

Which version of Lightroom are you using? Lightroom Classic 10.0 or Lightroom Desktop 4.0?
