I am having issues stacking images in grid view. I am in the folder where all the images are, but stacking is greyed out.

Hi @Johanna27724175y390! Welcome to the community!
Thanks for reaching out! Could you share a few more details about the issue you're experiencing? Also, what version of Lightroom are you currently using?

If possible, a screen recording or some screenshots showing the issue would be super helpful for us to better understand and investigate.

Thank you so much!
Alek

@Aleke, thanks for responding. I am using Lightroom V 8.4

I select multiple images that I want to stack together, but the stacked option is greyed out. I have tried changing to the grid view but no luck with that either.

Hi @Johanna27724175y390!
Thanks for the update! If possible, could you include the full Lightroom window in your screenshots? That would really help us get a clearer picture of what’s going on.

Also, just checking—by any chance, are you in the Local tab instead of the Cloud tab? Just a heads-up that stacking images only works with cloud-based files. If your photos are stored locally, you’ll need to copy them to the cloud first before you can group them into stacks.

Let me know if this helps!
Alek
