Change of size when importing Jpeg

Hello, 

I am having a challenge importing Jpegs at its original size from iPhoto. iPhoto says the image is 10MB but when I check the size in Lightroom, the image is sized down to 182 KB! Help! This issue just started today and it's the first time I have used lightroom since the update. Thanks!

Sounds like you are importing previews rather than originals. How exactly do you import these images?
