Compre un equipo nuevo para que lightroom funcionara mejor pero es lento.

Generalmente hago todas mis ediciones en lightroom mobile, pues me ha parecido practico y rapido, luego desde el pc exporto o hago el proceso de reduccion de ruido con IA. No editaba desde mi computador pues era muy lento  con lightroom y editar se hacia realmente tedioso. Tome la decision de comprar un equipo para poder editar con fluidez en lightroom desde el computador, pero lamentablemente no ha sido asi. Compre un Asus Tuf F16 con Ryzen 7, Rtx 4050, Ram 16gb y Vram de 6gb, cuando edito en el, suceden varias cosas:

- Los trazos con pincel de las mascaras se demoran casi un segundo en aparecer desde haberlos trazado

- Si presiono el boton para ver antes o despues de la foto se demora en hacer el cambio al igual forma en ver o ocultar la mejora de ruido.

- La superposicion de las mascaras no se ven, he activado y desactivado esa opcion pero aun asi no aparecen.

Probe lightroom en el computador de un amigo con especificaciones menores, y funciona con los mismos inconvenientes.

Me siento desanimado, pues hice una inversion que para mi fue grande y los resultados en el desempeño no han sido buenos.

Thank you for sharing such a clear explanation of what you’re experiencing. I can understand how disappointing it feels to invest in a new, powerful setup and still face performance issues. Here are the steps I’d suggest trying so we can narrow this down and collect the correct data for our product team:
 • Update Lightroom to version 9.0. 
 • In Lightroom, go to Edit > Preferences > Performance.
Set ‘Use Graphics Processor’ to ‘Custom’ and enable both ‘Use GPU for display’ and ‘Use GPU for image processing’. Restart Lightroom and check performance.
If the lag persists, set ‘Use Graphics Processor’ to ‘Off’ and test again. This helps confirm whether the GPU is contributing to the slowdown.
 • Close Lightroom and open this path in File Explorer:
%APPDATA%\Adobe\CameraRaw
Rename the folders named GPU and Logs to GPU.old and Logs.old. Then reopen Lightroom and test again.
 • Make sure you are using the NVIDIA Studio Driver, not the Game Ready driver. The Studio Driver is optimized for creative applications, such as Lightroom and Photoshop.
 • If the performance still feels slow, please record a short screen capture showing the behavior when painting with the Masking brush and toggling before/after.
 • Go to Help > System Info in Lightroom, copy all the information, and paste it into your reply. This will include details about your GPU, driver version, and memory, which we can review with the performance engineering team.

Once you’ve updated to version 9.0 and shared your System Info along with the recording, I’ll escalate your report to the broader Lightroom team to ensure it receives further review and analysis.
