Could not download images from Mac app

On August 12 shortly before midnight eastern time I could not download images from Lightroom CC to my Mac from the Mac App. I could download images from the website no problem. By the following morning all was back to normal. I wonder what happened. My Mac and my internet connection were fine and Adobe did not report an outage. This shakes my confidence in Adobe’s ability to ensure my access to my images.

We're really for all the hassle. Did you noticed any specific error message in Lightroom CC when you were unable to download your images?

I could download images from the website no problem.

There must an issue with the Lightroom CC app because as you mentioned you were able to download your images from Lightroom web.

Did you restart your machine next morning after that everything worked fine for you?

I did not see an error message, I just saw "saving" but it would never save. No, I did not restart my Mac in the morning.
