Crop: rotating the image 90º no longer functions

New Here ,
Nov 12, 2025 Nov 12, 2025

I've noticed since the last update (that came with assisted culling etc.) The cropping page seems to stop functioning correctly. You can change aspect ratios and the orientation of the ratio, but rotating the image 90º no longer functions at all. I have tried quitting and hard resetting with no luck. This is a huge pain and a hindrance to my workflow, and I hope there is a fix soon.

Hey, @Jacob27262117ydpj. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

At this stage, we were unable to reproduce the issue as described, and Lightroom behaved as expected.

Please share more details, such as the version of Lightroom and the operating system, along with screenshots and video recordings of what you see.

Currently, the information I provided is too limited for me to assist you.

Thanks!
Sameer K

rotating the image 90º-  It is simpler to use the keyboard shortcuts, then crop as required.

KB [X] will rotate the crop boundary. (Horiz<>Vert)
