Hello friends,
I am having an issue where my Lightroom Library is taking up too much space on my phone. I would like to keep the app on my phone for editing pictures on the go, but not have all of the photos and albums I have on my desktop version as it just takes up too much space. I would like to keep all of my folders and albums and photos on my desktop app, but remove them from mobile. Does that make sense? I turned off the syncing and deleted one photo from my phone, but then it deleted on my desktop version as well, although I had disabled syncing!
Thank you SO MUCH for your help!
With Lightroom CC Desktop, Mobile and Web your photos are stored in the Cloud and not on your computer or device (there are caveats, but that’s the basic overview).
Deleting on one will delete from the cloud and thus will disappear from the others.
To reclaim space on your phone try to Clear Cache and see if thats helps. This should just keep the minimums required previews etc.
