Deleted photos still appear in All Photos

New Here ,

I am new to Lightroom CC.

I have imported about 500 photos into various folders/albums.

When reviewing photos in each folder, I have deleted unwanted photos in go.

I now have about 150 photos in folders/albums.

However, all the deleted photos still appear in the All Photos folder and my total amount of storage used has not reduced.

What am I doing wrong?

Using the Delete Photo command should remove from all albums and the All Photos Library completely and you should be able to

see them in the Deleted Photos Tab.

Just checking you didn't use the Remove From Album option as this only deletes from the Album and not All Photos.

Thanks for the reply.

I guess I was removing from album/folder only.

My process was to select the photo and then hit the delete button. I would
then see the warning and press ok. I was confused because I recall seeing
the warning about deleting forever.

I think I was probably in the All Photos folder (without knowing) and
deleting properly from there and only removing from folder/album when in a
folder/album.

Thanks again.
