deleting albums and phots permanently from Lr.

I take pics for school sports and need to get rid of past years..  How do I deleted Albums and pics permanently from my folders in bulk.  Only way i see is individually.

Although you can delete Albums and Folders, as you probably know deleting these will not delete the photos within them as they are just 'holders or baskets'. Photos will always remain in All Photos.

 

I think they quickest way would be to go into each Album, Select All and Delete (not Remove From Albim).

 

Photos will then remain in the Deleted sexed unless permanently deleted from there prior to this


If your while Library consists of school

sports photos then another option would be to use the

sports photos then another option would be to use the 'By Date' option on the left. Again you would have a Select All once you select the months or days that are applicable.
