I'm a new LR CC user. Although I am grateful for the cloud backup, I would like to also store my photos in specific folders on my laptop. My current strategy is unwieldy and I was hoping to get input on how to streamline the process - currently:
I transfer my photos to a named folder on my lapop hard drive.
I import the photos into Lightroom CC and edit them there.
I then highlight all the edited photos and "save to folder", back to the named folder.
I now have two copies of all the photos in the folder on my hard drive - one unedited and one edited. To save space, I've been deleting all the unedited photos and keeping all the ones with the "pic.2" suffix (the edited ones).
Crappy photos that I'd like to discard don't get deleted from my hard drive folder when I delete them on LR.
So... is there a way to delete photos from my hard drive at the same time I delete them from LR? Any other suggestions?
