What are the chances that someday Denoise will be available for use with Lightroom on the Ipad Pro? Or, is it even possible? I certainly understand that in its current format, Denoise requires incredblile resources to function properly.

Thanks for your thoughts (and patience).

Seems that you have answered your own question. No one knows when or if an Ipad will have this power.

But — Adobe rarely if ever (probably I could say NEVER) announces dates (or even approximate dates) for when additional features will be added to its software. So, you will find out when this feature is available at the same time everyone finds out.

So, let me ask the question differently. What Ipad Pro resources would have to be improved to a allow Denoise to be included in Lightroom mobile?

Eric Chan says about the current implementation: "Finally, we built our machine learning models to take full advantage of the latest platform technologies, including NVIDIA’s TensorCores and the Apple Neural Engine. Using these technologies enables our models to run faster on modern hardware." While this technically does not prohibit other solutions in the future for denoise, this is what is needed today — and so it seems tough to predict what future iPads will need.
