Denoise unsupported for Leica M11 Monochrom?

Community Beginner ,

I get "Denoise is not currently compatible with this photo format" for all of my images coming from my Leica M11 Monochrom. These images are RAW, DNG.

Is this expected behavior?

Leica monochrome raw files are obviously not mosaiced, because mosaicing is a technique to make a sensor (which is basically a B&W device) record color via a pattern of color filters (Bayer filter array). 🙂

Currently only mosaiced raw files are supported. My guess is the Leica file is a demosaiced raw. You can check this in LrC 12.3 - Metadata Panel - Set pulldown to DNG and inspect the Mosaic Data field.  Lightroom Desktop does not have the ability to inspect this field so you would have manually check the file.

We plan to add support for additional file types in the future.
