Device storage space

If I import images from a camera into LR CC iPad, do the full size images remain on the iPad or are they replaced with Smart Prview versions once the originals have been sync’d with the cloud? I’m going mobile only while travelling and want to avoid loosing space on my device.

Hi Jim,

Indeed, the originals are replaced with Smart Previews after they are synced to the cloud. You can see the status displayed in the Info panel, and once the photos are synced, you can manually clear the cache by tapping the three dots next to you album name, and choosing, “clear cache.”
