Does anyone know how I can apply a preset to a mask only in Lightroom?

I was trying to add a black level preset to an image, but i ruined my skin tones alltogether.

is there a way i can limit the preset effect to a mask only in lightroom?

'Develop Presets' are "Global" ie. they influence the total image.

'Local Adjustment' (using a Brush, Linear or Radial Gradient) in the Masking panel, or with 'Subject' selection, will limit the Adjustment effect.
