P: Add Camera Calibration Panel

I cannot find the Camera Calibration Panel on the new Adobe Lightroom. (https://www.slrlounge.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Screen-Shot-2017-08-27-at-4.28.22-PM.png)

I have a few presets that come from the Adobe Lightroom Classic that change the colors on this Camera Calibration.

If I apply one of these presets on the new Adobe Lightroom, I see the color calibration being applied, but there is no way to change it.

Am I missing something?

The Color Calibration panel is now available in Lightroom Desktop 6.1. Access it from the [...] menu.

Hello All, I recently installed Lightroom Verion 3.2.1 for windows. The Camera Calibration panel seems to be missing. Below is my interface. How to find/get this panel to show up?

Thanks in advance.

You don't. Camera calibration is a feature in Lightroom Classic. It isn't available in Lightroom.

This topic is a five years old. Adobe doesn't seem to care. What's up with Adobe?

Good day @ all, I have been using Lightroom on the iPad for a long time because I enjoy editing photos anywhere on the go. The program is also very well developed. But why is "camera calibration" still missing? Will Adobe install that soon?

Please Adobe, Please bring Camera Calibration Module to Lightroom & Lightroom CC this is absolutely essential as a photographer, especially for creating presets. It's just as important as any other module like curves and HSL. Please guy make this happen for everyone.

Hi,

Does Lightroom CC have a calibration panel like CC Classic has?  Can't seem to find it.

Thanks

No, it isn't there in Lightroom. Why, do you need it?

Because after seeing a video by f64 Academy, he showed how powerful it is. I tried it on an image in LRCC and really liked the results. I have the same image in LR CC with all the same edits but the Calibration ones, and wish it was there.

You can do some of the same thing with the Color section, although you'll have to pretty much apply the adjustments on an individual image basis. I used the calibration section in LrC to tone down the saturation globally for one of my cameras.

Agreed, but this was so simple and powerful.  It's a really nice additional tool to have, as I just found out.

It's just one of several features that LrC has that Lightroom does not have. They are different programs, designed for different needs and purposes.

You can find the calibration option in Lightroom Classic:

Go to Window on the top menu - Panels - then check Calibration.

Now you have calibration under effects.

Enjoy!

Now you have calibration under effects.

Yes, you have the 'Panel' here but  (since v7.2) it only contains the Adobe Process Version and manual sliders for subtle color adjustments.

The Camera Profiles are now in the Basic Panel.

I purchased the Lightroom mobile plan thinking I would be able to do good color grading but I just can’t do it without calibrating my camera colors.

Camera calibration is one of the first steps for a good color grading.

The Lightroom desktop app has been supporting camera calibration for years, unfortunately for some unknown reason the Lightroom mobile app doesn’t have the camera calibration panel.

I would like to request this simple and fundamental feature as soon as possible.

Thank you.

That’s a feature I’ve been waiting for years! I feel my workflow isn’t complete because of that.

Lightroom Mobile supports camera profiles, so you can create a custom camera profile on your desktop computer and upload that. Mobile devices are not color managed, so I doubt it is useful to try to get more accurate colors than that.

@Johan_Elzenga sure that could be a workaround if you are only using the camera calibration panel to get accurate colors.

But if you’re using it to modify the “feel” of the image or as a step of you’re color grading artistic workflow, exporting desktop profiles will be a short term solution for a long term problem.

@Johan_Elzenga if you Google this issue you’ll see that many photographers have been asking Adobe to put this panel in Lightroom mobile too.

It’s been 5+ years since lots of users are requesting this basic functionality.

Do we have any response from Adobe?
