Hi,

Is it possible to directly edit a photo from Lightroom 5.2 into DXO Filmpack 6 ?

I've just installed DXO Filmpack but no clue how to edit photos from Lighroom, no DXO option in the edition menu...

Macbook Air with Monterey

Thanks for your help !

Can't be done directly from Lightroom to DXO as only Photoshop is supported for external editing. If you want to process Lightroom images into DXO you'll need to export them from Lightroom, process the exported file in DXO, then save and import the file produced by DXO.

Thanks a lot Jim for your feedback.

It's strange because when installing DXO there is a dedicated "tick" for Lightroom external module. Is it only foir Lightroom Classic, not for Lightroom 5.2 Cloud based version ?

Painful to have to export photo and then re import into LR....

"Is it only for Lightroom Classic?"  Yes.

Lightroom v5.2 does not support Plugins. (and Photoshop is 'hard-wired' for [Edit in] )

Another thought- If DXO can be used as a Plugin or Filter with Photoshop, that could be an answer.

Edit in Ps > use a DXO as a Filter > [Save] the image in Photoshop back to Lightroom.

Yes ! it works when using Filter ! Thank you so much for your useful tips !

Not very smooth as we have to open DXO in PS but easiest than using export/import files from LR....

And it works well !
