Am I supposed to be able to edit my photos in lightroom web while on an android tablet or ipad? I've searched, but I can't find the answer. I can edit photos in lightroom web while on my pc, but not on my android tablet, I don't see any of the edit options. I'm getting an iPad soon so I'd like to know if it's possible on the ipad as well. I know I can use the mobile apps, but I like the layout of the web version better.

Having never tried to edit using LrWeb on any of my iDevices, I just tried it on one of my iPads and it was not possible to edit using Lrweb on that device. So I think you'll be out of luck if that's what you would want to do.

Personally, I would generally prefer to edit using the LrM app on my iDevices, as it has a more complete suite of edit tools when compared with LrWeb.

Thanks for trying that. I figured that's the way it was, but I was looking for confirmation.

I actually tried this the other day on an iPad as I wanted a larger screen to edit whilst I am on holiday.

The iPad (which wasn't mine) didn't have Lightroom Mobile installed but did allow me to see the edit tools and edit on Lightroom Web. I wouldn't say it was a smooth experience though on a 2019 iPad.

I would say Lightroom Mobile is the better option.

That's interesting. I'd tried on both an iPad Mini and an iPad Pro, with the same result, i.e. no edit tools. Then it occurred to me that I was using the Chrome browser on both devices, so I just tried again on my iPad Pro using Safari instead, and with that browser all the edit tools are available. Go figure!

I finally got my ipad and to my surprise the lightroom app layout is just like the web version as opposed to the Android version which I didn't care for at all. As mentioned, using the web verse ion of lr isn't as good as either app.
