Facial Recognition

I installed Lightoom for the first time last week.
I added a large number of jpg files in one go, then realised I had added some subfolders I didn't want in Lightroom. I removed all the images from the program and left it to sync, then removed them all from Deleted.

Since then I have added just the folders I need, reducing the number of images, and faces included.

My trouble now is Lightroom is not recognising almost all of the faces in the images added.
I had named a lot of the faces in the original import, but a lot of them now do not show up. I have tried only adding about 40 images, group shots, and it only picks out 2 faces in People.

Tonight I uninstalled all CC apps, removed the Creative Desktop app and ran the cleaner tool.

It still left a lot of folders, so I went through and removed everything I could find relating to Adobe and rebooted. After reinstalling the app it is no different.

Does anyone have any advice on how I can get things working properly again?

Thank you
