Failed to Import all/any Photos into Lightroom CC

When I try to import any photo from my phone (Samsung A5 6, running Android 7.0) into Lightroom CC Mobile I get the error 'Failed to import (x) photos'.

 

I've tried restarting the app, phone, changing storage locations and the permissions. Any suggestions?
