Is there a way to filter photos by DNG after they are enhanced?

Hey @Webbge. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

You can use Lightroom's contextual search options to find images based on the File type/extensions & if the images has edits or not.

Go to the search area at the top & select the search criterias. Yes, you can combine search queries.

You can do the following in the search:

  • Type or copy this: Extension:dng
  • Hit enter
  • Ddd Edited & select yes or no.

Let me know if this helps. Thanks!

Sameer K

Also, when there are no search filters applied, LR stacks the DNG and ARW files together, but when a "picked" filter is applied, it separates them, which means I still have to go through and individually select all the photos either way. Not the end of the world, but time consuming nonetheless when it feels like there should be an easier way to select DNG files for editing.
