Getting Photos Back

Hello,

My presets deleted after the last update and a suggestion to get them back was to delete the app then download it again. I did this and then obviously my photos deleted too (this also did not solve the preset issue, so that was a big mistake). I didn't think this would be an issue since I would sign back into my account and thought my photos should be saved. The photos did not come back, so I'm curious if there is a way to get them back. Thanks!

If you don't have a subscription, then usually the only way to retrieve them is via a full device back up.

In case anyone else has further advice... which device are you using?

The last app update moved the Preset button.

The Presets and Profiles buttons moved locations on the Edit toolbar -- Look towards the options on the left side of the Edit screen.  Tap Presets, and switch from Premium to the Library tab, and scroll down until you see User Presets--your presets should be there.

Please see selondon's advice about restoring a backup -- unless you are a paid (syncing) Lightroom user, restoring a backup of your device from a time when your photos and presets were present are all we can recommend for image recovery.
