Newbie here re: Lightroom

I have looked at the instructions in Lightroom as well as Youtube instructions but I cannot find a way to simply email pictures from Lightroom.  When I follow the directions on one of the Youtube on this subject, it says look at the drop mdown from the Files tab.  When I click on files, per the video it should show an email option but it doesn't.

Have mercy on a newbie and can anyone help.

Thanks in advance

Wayne

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Lightroom does not have an email function.

You are quite possibly looking at instructions for Lightroom-Classic.

COMPARE LIGHTROOM & LIGHTROOM-CLASSIC FEATURES

TBMK You will need to Export photos to your local folders and then append/add to your usual email app.

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 14.2 Photoshop 26.3, ACR 17.2, Lightroom 8.2, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 15.0.2, .
