I activated the 7 day trial for the Photography Plan.
I am planning on using LR Classic (have an old perpetual license for Classic) on my desktop computer and combine it with the Adobe Lightroom for my laptop and iPhone.
My question: How can I configure the Adobe Lightroom so that it doesn't automatically sync all of my pictures taken with my iPhone to the Cloud (regardless whether the picture was taken with the apple camera app or within the lightroom app). I want to select the pictures that I want to sync and not have random pictures like pictures of receipts for my travel expenses clutter my lighroom.
It seems like a basic setting but have now been looking for hours to find it without success (both here on the forum and on Youtube).
Thank you, Tom

Adobe Lightroom is intended to sync with the cloud. Lightroom Classic gives you control.
If you take photos using LR Mobile's camera, they will always sync. That's the idea. If you take them with the iOS camera, go into the LrM settings and ensure that you disable the syncing.

Thank you!
I was able to disable automatic sync from my cameral roll pictures per your instructions. I can still add them individually if I want, which is good. Seems that pictures taken in the lightroom app will always sync automatically. I am OK with that. Just need to keep ontop of purging unnecessary pictures, which is anyway needed so I don't run out of space on my phone.
