Greetings,
I have 380 image files I've used for catalog layouts over the past 15 years. Since I was making catalogs, I cropped all the images as closely as possible, not knowing that I would need them to be 1:1 aspect ratio for my website. I use a white background on my site and in my photos. What I'd like to do is export the photos from Lightroom so they are 2048x2048 pixels, with Lightroom simply adding white to the added pixel spaces. For example, if a current image is 2048x1024, Lightroom would add 1024 pixels total of white space at the top and bottom of the image to make it 2048x2048. Any way to do this in bulk? I tried it using an Adobe tutorial, but the tutorial says, "Be sure to check "Do not enlarge" on the export file options", but that "Do not enlarge" checkbox does not exist on the current Lightroom. So my 2048x1024 image came out as 4096x2048 when I set the export size to 2048x2048. Can anyone help me with this? I'd rather not have to export 380 times! Windows 10. Lightroom 6.1
